Others can correct me on this - but I believe the clause was dropped when the post count went up from 10 posts on the front page to 30 (as it stands now), as well as how the wording was causing some confusion.

Looking at the 2nd page now, there are 2 memes at the bottom from last Sunday (Dec 2) left so the one week timespan is about right for memes to be pushed that far back on a general basis. (Going back to 4 weeks has nothing from Nov 25, but further still seems to indicate that 1 to 1.5 pages of memes/week was the situation.)

It also looks like larger numbers of memes are being posted in general for the last few weeks. (I'm seeing more 6+ posts/day versus the ~5 posts under the calendar archive page.) which is pushing memes back much faster.

Which is why they posted out. The mods really need to have memes be submitted to a queue and randomly approve a few every day. Just because it's off the front page of its been a week doesn't mean it needs to be posted. We really shouldn't have more than 2-3 memes tops a day. People aren't rping because a new meme will be up in an hour or the same one will be up in a week. This is ridiculous.
