would someone please talk to this poster about not posting on the same day as the smutty picture prompt meme. i mentioned this on the last post, but this is actually a decent meme and they are either ruining the potential of it by posting it on the same day as the scheduled meme, or they're doing it as a shitty attempt to try to overshadow it.

it was posted on the wednesday a few weeks ago and it got a much better reception then, but they keep redoing it on a sunday, and this is just getting dumb. like i said before, i actually like this meme and it's annoying as hell to see it posted on the same day as one that's as similar to it as it is. please ask them to change the day and/or make it every other week instead of trying to shove yet another meme into a schedule that it doesn't need to be on.

I would recommend contacting the person you don't want to rp with and telling them honestly that you don't want to tag them, ignore their tags, or make your top levels not OTA.

Then communicate with the player or ignore them. If it gets to a point where you have communicated with them and they continue to tag you or if there is a specific reason you feel uncomfortable messaging them that you would be kind enough to share with me privately, I will be happy to step in.

Last week, a nazi punching meme was posted to the community which we then took down.

Deletion reasons:
1.It referenced a recent real life tragedy, which as a bakerstreet meme, does not treat it with the seriousness the topic deserved. If you wish to play out that specific scenario, a PSL would be better served.

Other similar memes such as The Inglorious Basterds meme, and related memes exist and have been posted.

2. Whatever the intent, the meme came off as trolling and wank-baiting.

Comments are enabled on this post, but those that encourage wank will be screened/deleted.

I'll add a word since I'm the one who took it down. I apologize for not giving an explanation, but I did not see the meme as anything more than trolling. Even now, knowing what happened, I would still delete it.

We continue to allow memes based on war as we have done before but we do expect you, players, to know how to handle them with maturity.

This is part of it, yes. As stated, we are perfectly fine with the Inglorious Basterds meme that popped up after the meme that was removed though part of that meme is about scalping nazis.

Though pedophilia and sexual slavery (as anon seems to love bringing up) are horrible and real tragedies, the memes that pop up regarding them are not directly referencing specific incidents like your examples of Weinstein and Thai Sex Trafficking.

I can send them a note.

But in the future, I do encourage players to contact meme posters themselves. If you (general you) are using a sock account to do so, there shouldn't be any problems. And if somebody objects to being asked to add a title or to put NSFW images under a cut, then it's worth reporting them.

I'll add to say that I mean simple requests such as my examples above.
