perhaps a PM and a three strike system for meme posters who are frequently posting obviously redundant memes, but they sat long enough that they already have some top levels? it should be on meme posters to make sure they're not posting spam, after all.

i haven't had any active threads deleted so this isn't a universal problem, but it is happening

ftr, i didn't read that as domestic violence. i went and looked up the comic and the way to read it is the girl is asking where she's being taken as in 'on a date'. he's replying that he's taking her for granted in the entire relationship. it's just poor perspective from the comic angle that it's from her pov and he's walking with her, his hand still raised like it was in the first panel. he's not hitting her, he's not threatening to hit her. he's mid-stride.

i could see you taking it as a poor dv joke if his reply was 'to the hospital' or something. that's not what the comic's about.

you're not owed a reply. you're reporting what you feel are repeats. clearly they disagree. i do as well with some of them. you're generalizing too much and expecting just because you found similarities, they deserve to be stricken. some of them are NOT repeats and are just shy of 2 weeks anyway, which would have given them a pass. they aren't duplicates. duplicates get deleted automatically. your sense of 'but it has the same phrasing so i don't like it' is a you thing.

please don't get up on the mods balls because you had a few reports get noticed and now you think you're backseat modding. they don't have to tell you they aren't removing a meme. you can figure that out yourself by seeing that they aren't removing the meme.

Hello. The mod removing the extreme and unusual kink meme because of the taboo won't respond to my concerns as I think they are making a ridiculous mistake.

The taboo meme has nothing to do with kink at all. It is about societal norms and breaking those which does not imply kink at all and it's actually a little gross to imply that that's the case.

The extreme and unusual kink meme is about kinks and have nothing to do with societal norms. I do not think these should be considered similar enough to have the meme deleted and forced to wait a week.

i'm not complaining about most of the memes being deleted, but i would like to make a small request that, like 1800 has been doing, making a comment in here about what meme got deleted (and/or if there were any top levels that had threads going on). i've been feeling a little uncertain lately if i saw a meme up that isn't there later, so i've been questioning my own perception and it's causing a little uncertainty.

so just a heads up from whomever is deleting with a 'deleted x meme because x reason'. it helps people like me not feel like i'm seeing things.
