sa with a few more points:

- it's not a coincidence that the memes you have limited and scheduled always get a reasonable amount of traffic. tfln hits captcha in part because people aren't constantly inundated with differently themed or styled tfln posts, so when it comes around, they actually want it.

- sure, anybody can post, but that becomes more of a weakness and less of a strength when it's much easier to slam up a copy-paste than it is to come up with something actually interesting.

- also some people are so determined to get their niche kink fix that they can't take a hint. I've posted a certain meme twice, at reasonable intervals, and it's gotten crickets. I'll probably post it once more in future, and if it doesn't take off I'll know that it's just not something people want. there's no point cluttering up the comm with memes that you KNOW nobody's going to tag.
