I'm trans (and play a few trans characters) and personally I feel that 1) there was nothing inflammatory about the original meme and 2) that player's conduct was well out of line. If I were in their position I would have probably just top-levelled with a brief ooc note about my character being trans/what to expect from their junk and been done with it. Instead, said player was needlessly combative without cause, and as another anon before me said, was clearly looking for excuses to "punish" people before any wrongs had ever been committed.
