Can you guys ban people who do this? They're just loading TLH up with bs memes to get around the one meme per day per user rule, and they're breaking TLH rules as well.

+1

if it's one meme being crossposted, that's fine, but they're essentially dumping 5+ memes up that can't be reposted on bakerstreet (a different poster who usually tries to post the in heat/rut meme did that with a couple with then makes both of those unpostable for a bit) and it's getting annoying. if i want to play on tlh, i'll play on tlh. shoving tlh into bakerstreet is not the way to go. if people want to play on tlh, they will. crossposting every meme onto here is not cool, it's annoying, and it does, like the other anon said, break the rules of both comms. one meme at a time? sure, cool. just like the fort anon memes that get posted. but this is bull.

sa

not to mention it feels like some people trying to get around the fact they're banned on bakerstreet but not on tlh, so now they're pushing that by linking through to a place they can play on and hoping to get play they can't otherwise because tlh is more of a ghost town than bs is.

I'll look into this more tomorrow or over the weekend.

We've actually told in the past that TLH crossposts can mention more than one meme at the time. The idea behind that was to avoid too many separate crossposts, but of course we didn't want anyone to break the rules of either comm by doing it.

Possible compromise: given that the TLH rules allow for double meme posts, that could be the same limit applied to the crossposts? (There's also a time limit but IDK how well that would translate via bakerstreet)

More than two memes linked in the one post and they're removed from the comm, and people who repeatedly do that are then banned from posting.

Yes. I'll take down the post and messaged the poster.

They can always repost later.
