a little too late for it to be worth anything, but i would think a kink meme is kind of a place to play out that sort of thing. i'm not into underage in any context at all, but a kink meme or looking for kinks is sort of... the appropriate place to look for it? rpa allows for underage requests in the kinks you want to play threads, so i don't understand why there's suddenly policing about ages for fake characters in a public comm. it's not breaking tos, it's not breaking the rules of the comm. this feels like someone's deciding this particular kink bothers them so they're trying to ban it.

that's a slippery slope argument. if it's in an apropos meme, then it should be allowed. i don't like the kink, but i also don't like gore or vore, but people play that and no one cares. they're not playing it openly in a gen meme where people don't expect it. you expect random kinks, even offensive to certain parties ones in a kink meme.

i know you're trying to make everyone happy, but bs is supposed to be a neutral zone, of sorts. unless they're breaking rules, there's no reason to police them. some people need to learn to scroll on.

I don't know how pointing out the "you can't make everyone happy" even helps. Should we not make any decisions at all because of it? If I make a decision that you like, will you come and say it didn't make everyone else happy. I think not.

I don't believe bakerstreet and rpanons necessarily need have identical rules about these things. Rpanons is not the place where the playing happens. I assume most people take their underage smut threads in private journals and museboxes because otherwise we would have been contacted about them many times already. I've also seen criticism toward some of the things that are posted in the kinks thread there, and having them deleted. What I know, asking smut for 10-year-old characters is not very common.

I froze the thread and asked the player to delete their comment which they did. They contacted me and didn't seem angry about it. As always, if the other mods disagree with this, they can outnumber my opinion.
