this is ink/stella/maric/etc. who is mentally unstable and banned essentially everywhere on dw for a number of things. i'm not sure if you guys have her banned, but this is also her and there are people constantly recording her accounts but this is the only one i know.

I'll ask if thelongcon knows more of this than me.

i really hate disagreeing with you, but they're not. it's not an age-centric meme and they're not stating the age. they're also not using the younger icons from them. i'm personally not cool with most of their chars since the tw actor was also underage for most of his icons (asa is currently 23, so in 2012 he'dve been 15, but i don't see any actual 15 year old merlin icons. the player seems to like the twink characters, so most of their chars likely skirt the edge and they aren't clear about how old they are, and when all their chars are m/m and most of them have been m/f (if any stated preference in canon at all), they seem to have a kink. if you ban this char, you have to ban them all. and this seems like just more pointing the finger at this particular musedumper. yes, it's annoying, but you can literally just scroll on, not tag, and the icons aren't nsfw or problematic. asa looks younger than he is. (currently playing a high school student in sex ed).

just ignore it, anon. like most of us do. they're not breaking rules (not like that weirdo putting up an actual 6 year old la pb for a character in sex memes).

Thank you, anon. As I'm unfamiliar with that actor and the roles he's had, now I didn't need to go and look up that information.

He does look very young but so do some characters from drawn mediums. I know it's not quite the same but as long as the player is only making toplevels and not forcing the character on others, I can tolerate that.

This does no mean that trolls should start putting little children in smut memes. We don't have a rule about this yet but that can change if someone tries to be obnoxious about it.

It is, of course. People are just not paying attention or deliberately going against rules. Thelongcon has messaged the person posting the second meme. They could have taken it down then if they'd chosen to.

I can see there's not a great deal of play yet, and I could delete it now, but I would prefer to just assign a longer period before the next Mid-Fuck meme an be posted. Three weeks or month.

honestly at this point i think it should be three weeks for all memes except scheduled ones.

voting against this because it would lead to even more needlessly niche same-y memes to skirt the line. do we really need feeling dominant, male dom, femdom? unusual kinks and byok?

if we're going to make a sweeping rule, id like one on limiting smut or shipping themed memes to a limit per week or even day, but i doubt that'd ever happen. then i think three weeks would be a good idea.

I'm 80% most shitty niche shipping memes are Neko (she's always on then unless no one else tags, muse dumping, the all gave images of characters she's obsessed with or her weird crossovers, she's really not subtle). She has fifty accounts for every shitty character, I can't imagine how many anon accounts she has.

Like how dead does BS have to get for the mods to curate and do what they should as moderators? It's not just a title and power where your occasionally check in and handle little things you deem important. It's about your community and I'm not sure how much louder people need to be about dissatisfaction with this shit.

We do "delete shit" as you say, though perhaps not as much as you'd prefer. Players have differing opinions here. When we do something person X likes, person Z comes and complains about it, and vice versa. We try to cater to players' wishes, and we let them to be anonymous so we can't tell how many times X gets their way and how many times Z gets their way, but I have a hard time believing that every single decision we've made over the years has been the wrong one in your opinion.

This is something we do on our free time and I can assure you we aren't here for some title or power.

Bakerstreet has its faults but it will not get magically more popular with heavy regulations.

i actually track your problems pages and see how much stuff you delete. dwrp community likes to pretend its united for the sake of a strawman argument, but you can never please anyone, and i get that.

i would really like to see, though, what would happen if smut / shipping memes were limited in some way. instead of a moritorium on them (what a terrible idea), maybe a week where only five (or less, or more) were allowed to be posted a day, and see what happened. just for one week, and if it doesn't work, trash the idea like it never happened.

i only target smut memes because those are the ones i generally see trying to skirt the lines the most in terms of no reposts. for example, maledom and feeling dominant (which could easily include a prompt for maledom and be done with it). no one posts the rain meme, and then the storm meme, and then the monsoon meme. am i making sense?

i know you can't do anything on the request of just one anon, but if no one ever says anything, nothing will ever get changed, you know?

i appreciate the work you guys do, whatever you decide to do with my silly request.
