they posted it an hour ago. it comes up as 11:pm on my bs front page and it always shows as 12: when they post on time. they jumped the gun. that, or they had it open from 11 and just squatted on it until an hour later, without updating the date. this weird predatory possessiveness over tfln is annoying and a shitty thing to have to watch. especially considering how often people are flooding excessive memes or complaining about sort of not really the same memes.

Out of curiosity, would you ever consider bumping the two-week rule up to a one-month rule? There are a lot of memes out there, and there have been days when what feels like 20 memes in less than 24 hours. I think a longer waiting time between repeat memes could give each meme more time to be seen before it's pushed down by other ones. It also avoids burnout, since seeing the same meme over and over again makes people, myself included, less enthused about it. Memes that I once really enjoyed show up so frequently now that I'm sort of over them. Making memes more scarce could help with this.

no. just do what most of us do: take a break from bakerstreet. play in a psl. having memes all the times means new people (or old) can come back to something to play. but if you're using it as your sole means to rping, then maybe you're doing it wrong. go start a psl with someone. drag a meme friend or five into a musebox and play out a few fun scenarios. don't be on bakerstreet every day expecting to be entertained with new content.

i have the most fun on bs when i'm away from it for a bit. i go off and wrap up my ongoing threads from old memes, i actually finish stuff, and when i come back a month or two later, i can pick up something new if i want. bs isn't a game. it's a communal fishing pool. if you feel burned out, it's because you're overfishing the pool. lessening the amount of memes or the times they can be played isn't going to magically make new fish come to the pond. we've all played the same memes over and over. we are all burned out. so it's on us to go find something to do to give us time to cool down.
