This isn't a complaint, but I don't see a suggestions area. Is there any way you can implement this (https://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=119)? Links to the Dreamwidth FAQ about the amount of text that can be shown to a feed reader. I was wondering if you could change it to full text?

is there an upper limit to how many memes are allowed to be posted a day? in general, not per poster. recently it seems as if memes don't even get a chance to gain any traction at all before being pushed to pages 2 and 3.

no, and why would there be? go back a page. or two. the community is working the way it's intended. bookmark what you like, link it to your friends, or just be willing to click back. there's no reason for there to be a posting limit since it's actually rare that more than six memes are posted a day.

i do that already, but thanks I guess. it was an honest question, as I'd noticed that memes were being spammed back to back over the past couple of weekends.

there's a rule that states that memes can't be reposted before 2 weeks, barring the handful that have scheduled posting dates. those memes can be found on the front page of the comm in a post that lets you know which few they are and when they're posted. they're mostly texting memes (midnight/general, tfln, sexting), so those are an every week type thing. outside of that, there's a lot of 'same kind' memes that crop up when it's slow, but anything that's reposted before 2 weeks usually gets reported. it just gets to feel the same.

as a long time frequenter, yes, it feels like same same a lot. the best thing to do imo is to just take a break from bs for a week/month or play in a psl or something. come back as needed when you're up for something specific. but there's no reason people in general can't go to the second/third/fourth pages. it's just laziness at this point not to. a suggestion would be if you have plurk/discord, link the meme you're interested in playing in to get it seen more, regardless of what page it's on.
