I suppose so. You could also post it later.

+1

i don't see why it has to be earlier instead of later. other than the poster feeling like they're going to 'miss out' on posting and wanting to be the only person that posts. no one else is going to post (and if someone did, it doesn't matter). it's supposed to be about the meme, not the poster.

lady & the tramp, barbarian lover, little red riding hood, teach me how to love, natural enemies, and unconvential couples are all on the front page.

they're all borderline the same thing. i would kill for you guys to curate posts already :(

you should contact meme posters and do that. robot is way too niche like a lot of them are. it only really got a ton of hits to start because of dbh but it's dead now for a reason

shippy texting post when we have a sexting post supposed to go up tomorrow. if i or another poster winds up putting that up, i don't want to have to deal with 'but there's a shippy meme up' out of line.

I messaged them back when there was only a handful of replies to let them know they were interrupting the posting schedule and they might want to delete the post and they told me they planned on letting the mods decide.

Sorry I'm a day late. I'll ask them to put it under cut.

Unrelated but I'm also going to delete Surprisingly Gentle meme since there are options for that prompt in the Calming Caretaker.
Edit: Plus that journal didn't allow PMs so I banned them from posting in the future.

Thanks, I just noticed the same thing.

This (the size difference meme) https://bakerstreet.dreamwidth.org/5676719.html

Is basically a repeat of (the size Queens meme) : https://bakerstreet.dreamwidth.org/5676372.html#cutid1

It's true there are different prompts hut they shouldn't be right after each other in my opinion.

(Anonymous) 2019-04-15 04:36 am (UTC)(link)
you complained about this on wg and were told there they weren't the same. size queens (posted first) is about dicks and only dicks/genitals. size difference is about the whole enchilada, like dwarfs w/giants. they are two different memes entirely which just happen to share a word in common.

Texting meme posted out of schedule

sa

(Anonymous) 2019-04-18 10:49 am (UTC)(link)
to clarify:

i know it's ostensibly a "picture prompt meme," but if we're deleting all texting memes no matter the gimmick that fall off-day, we need to be consist. re: the shipping text meme that got deleted earlier last week for good reason.

additionally, the meme knocks the two scheduled variations (gen and shipping picture prompts) out of rotation.

(Anonymous) 2019-04-18 06:32 pm (UTC)(link)
this isn't going to get deleted, lmao. double standards.

In this case, the meme is being taken as a picture prompt meme rather than a texting meme as has happened in the past.

There are also other variants of picture prompt memes - though the two you've mentioned are most often posted/rotated.

Impregnation kink meme here: https://bakerstreet.dreamwidth.org/5685900.html#cutid1 posted barely one and a half day after the Starting A Family meme (https://bakerstreet.dreamwidth.org/5683688.html) went up which has a impregnation option in its prompts.

I know every kink has its space on bakerstreet but can we please put a cap on the pregnancy-themed ones? They are niche enough that they barely ever get any traction and yet they keep being posted up to two times a week since months. Slowing it down to maybe one every two weeks might give people actually time to play in them before the next one goes up.

Love at Wrong Sight

Deleted because the Bittersweet Love Meme from yesterday is too similar.

https://bakerstreet.dreamwidth.org/5695650.html - swear myself to you (posted today)

https://bakerstreet.dreamwidth.org/5691008.html - sworn to you (posted 21st)

these ones feel a little too similar to each other to be that close together.

it'd be really nice if people would read the first page (minimum) before posting things. this is getting to be an issue.
